The bowl may be washed in the dishwasher on a delicate cycle, as well as in the microwave, though hand washing with lukewarm water is advisable. The darker pieces should not be microwaved, as they are likely to reach excessive temperatures. Hand washing is recommended to preserve longevity. Avoid prevent thermal shocks.
