This large speckled stoneware bowl by ceramicist Jacinthe Brind'Amour seeks to reproduce mineral textures of coarse and powdery rocks on objects as common as the everyday cup and bowl, it's like having a piece of a hostile and moving nature in our homes, everyday. This is why each piece has a unique firing development, each was designed with a different batch of clay and the ceramicist creates her glazes so that each piece has its free will.
Each pasta bowl is unique. The images give a good idea of the one you’ll receive. The making of these large bowls makes them all unique. This is why color, gradients, motives and format can vary from one to another. See it as the pledge of a work done by hand.

Jacinthe Brind'Amour
Jacinthe Brind’Amour has been designing, manufacturing and distributing a wide range of ceramic utility products since obtaining her diploma in Applied Arts and Crafts in Ceramics in 2008. Creating bowls, cups, vases, trays; always in an alternation of different inspirations and trends, she has never ceased her activities as a ceramicist since then, although she has had to reconcile this demanding job with that of the head of the family. She has also taught turning and shaping in several schools and now devotes herself to private teaching on firing and the creation of glazes in her small workshop in Montreal.
Diswasher and microwave safe. The matte portions will naturally wear out faster and can mark or stain, which is why the portions where the earth is bare and the glaze is matte are located only on the outside of the ceramic pieces.
