Perfect for the cottage! Handmade white glossy porcelain cruet with pine tree photograph by Cindy Labrecque, Canadian Wildlife collection
The perfect friend to cook with, and leave on the counter as a part of your kitchen decor! A beautiful contemporary piece... Definitely fits in any kitchen!
This collection is meant to be a celebration of the beauty of Canada’s wildlife. The artist draw wild animals by hand on paper. Then she processed the images to make decals so they can be transferred onto ceramics while preserving all their details.
Each bottle is unique. The images give a good idea of the one you’ll receive. The making of these oil bottles makes them all unique. This is why color, gradients, motives and format can vary from one to another. See it as the pledge of a work done by hand. Note that the unglazed part of porcelain pieces can age over time, which gives them a little something more.
Quebec Region: Handmade in Quebec, Quebec, Canada.
Material & Colour:These ceramics are white porcelain, hand-thrown by the artist herself. After a first fire, a glossy white glaze is applied, and the pieces are fired again at 1200 degrees Celsius (2192 degrees Fahrenheit). After this second firing, the decals are transfered onto the ceramic pieces, and fired one last time at 800 degrees Celsius (1472 degrees Fahrenheit).
