For Evelyn Charette, Enfin Atelier is the culmination of her longtime passions.
With a Bachelor of Visual and Media Arts, the pieces Evelyn produces are paradoxically simple and complex. Nothing is left to chance and you can feel the handmade stamp on each one. The designs of her pieces are reminiscent of the aesthetics of engravings from old books. Some images evoke a symbolism that is similar to that of the traditional tattoo. It is in a way an adaptation of these ancestral techniques transposed on everyday objects. The dominant shades and colors are emerald green, mint green and peach, which evoke the sea, softness and comfort.
