The man behind Parallèle soixante, is Quebec actor Christian Michaud, who has a passion for cooking, The company produces handmade wooden accessories for the kitchen. Its production is done on a small scale, in a studio located in the Chaudière-Appalaches region. Its high quality creations include spoons, service and cutting boards, and salt cellars, manufactured in four different hardwood species.
All Parallèle soixante wooden objects receive two layers of 100% safe-for-food-use mineral oil, before being waxed with beeswax and polished by hand.
Hand wash with mild soap and dry immediately. Do not soak in water. Do not place in the dishwasher. Can be waxed and oiled again as necessary to give a brighter finish.
