Material & Colour : Marbled concrete composite.There is no drainage holes in them so you can use them for more than planters. While you can plant directly into your planter if you wish, we recommend that your plants are contained in plastic pots and placed inside the concrete pots. This process also assist should you need to move your pot and makes it easier for watering. Your plastic pot is too tall for your concrete pot? Trim the extra plastic showing on the top and Voila!

Uekibachi literally means flowerpot in Japanese.
Fanny Scott is the founder and creator of Uekibachi. Montreal designer, she trained in visual arts, photography and make-up. She also studied sculpture and mold making in Los Angeles. She merges all her acquired knowledge to create something personal.
We do use food safe resin that is certified by the FDA to seal the inside of our pots, plates and ashtrays. While our concrete homewares are made for decorative use, they are suitable for dry foods. To clean, wipe with a warm, damp cloth. Do not place in oven, microwave or dishwasher. *Do not submerge in water in any way. Concrete is a porous material that doesn't react well with too much water.
